“Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat, please put a penny…” (o.k. I’ll stop now), but … YES, it’s true, I completely SKIPPED Halloween this year (which is totally unlike me – it just seemed to sneak up so quickly!) and have jumped right into the Christmas mood. I even pulled out some Christmas tunes today and played them in the car. I’ve also been thinking a lot about Christmas gifts and starting some Christmas crafting. I completed my first Christmas project a few days ago and will share it SOON {maybe even tomorrow}!
One thing I know I will be using a LOT of this year is burlap, webbing and jute. I buy a lot of my burlap from a great fabric store in Vancouver {Rokko’s}, but haven’t had as much luck finding burlap webbing. Today, however I discovered burlapfabric.com – how did I not know about company before?! They have lots of burlap webbing, which is great because here are some projects that are inspiring me right now from my Pinterest Boards:

I am sooooo making one of these. I love wreaths and have started a small collection of them… but of course I’d love a few more – I’m thinking of hanging them in an arrangement above the fireplace this year…

Another great burlap wreath… the ribbon could easily be changed out depending on the season.

This is a cute idea – wouldn’t a box like that look lovely with Poinsettias?

Aren’t these hearts to die for? I love the stamp too.

There’s not much I can say about this burlap tree made out of a German grain sack other than it’s FREAKING AWESOME.

I love the natural look of burlap presents adorned with pine cones and tied with jute. Now I may actually have a use for all the pine cones that come home in my daughter’s pockets!

Wouldn’t these hearts make great tree ornaments?
So many ideas, so little time!
