I finally caved and painted our coffee table! All of the nicks and scratches were getting to me, and for the longest time I debated over whether to strip the top and re-stain and paint the skirt/legs white, but in the end I decided to paint the whole thing and I’m happy that I did.
Do you remember what it looked like before?
I used CeCe Caldwell’s Young Wheat then distressed and coated it with satin poly. So far it’s holding up well to Hayden’s cars and trucks, and I figure any new marks will just add some more “natural” distressing.
I really love this color. I have a feeling it might be similar to ASCP French Linen {I’d love to compare the two}.
On another note, I can’t believe it’s almost October and I’m still able to wear flip flops and a summer dress to work. I’m loving this Indian Summer and wish I had more time to spend outside painting!
