Hello there! If you are new here, you might want to follow on my new LINKY FOLLOWER tool or subscribe by email for updates on this topic.
Remember these? These little nesting tables were my little guinea pigs for my first foray with homemade chalk paint.
I really love them and had them in my living room… until I finished this:
I love this even more, and I don’t have space for all three, so I decided to add some french number stencils to the nesting tables and sell them. Here they are with their new update:
I think they’re cute with the numbers….
Now for a sneak peak at my next furniture project. I have been looking a piece of furniture to put at the end of my hall to store all our our Cd’s and photo albums in. Right now the Cd’s are on a white, cheap looking bookshelf in the hall and I hate having them on display… I also have to face the fact that although we do not use our Cd’s as much as we used to (thanks to downloads), I still haven’t gotten around to downloading all of our music onto the computer and/or ipad. So… anywhoo, when I found this dresser in the back alley two weeks ago, I quickly ran in to get my tape measure to see if it was narrow enough for the space I had in mind. Turns out it was the exact measurement! Yeah!!!! I love when the stars align.
Some of the drawer pulls need repairing (they were not properly installed in the first place), and the plastic hardware has to GO! I can’t wait to show you what I have planned for this (hint: it involves a respirator and something shiny).
Stay tuned!!
