About Me

I live in Vancouver, British Columbia with my amazing husband and two great kids (ages 4 and 1.5). I am a kindergarten/grade one teacher, and love my profession, but my other passion is thrifting, furniture makeovers, diy projects and crafts .This summer I was inspired by a beat up vintage dresser I found in a back alley. I knew I could transform it into something great, and was inspired by my son’s love of everything to do with TRUCKS. As I was in the middle of this project, I realized how much I was enjoying myself… it’s been a long time since I’ve taken on anything like this, but in the past I have painted many, many things. I started looking on the internet for ideas for other projects, and was amazed at all the wonderful blogs out there showcasing diy projects, furniture redos and creative crafts. I really love a great thrift store find and the challenge of transforming something “ugly” into something beautiful. I’m hoping to learn more and more as I embark on this journey, and hope you’ll join me!
